The foundation is named after 12-year-old Brittany Balser of Hilliard, who, after a 4-week fight with the disease in Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, lost her life to TTP. Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura is a rare blood disease that afflicts females ages 20–50, but recently has afflicted younger girls ages 11 to 16. The fact that it is a rare blood disease has meant that little has been done to fund research and development of new and better ways to diagnose and treat it. We are the only charity in the world dedicated to raising funds to fight this deadly disease.

This charity event has 2 distinguished Ohioan’s donating their time to our mission. We are delighted to have Grove City native, Roberta Camp who is the reigning Miss Ohio, and is attending OSU.

Joe, who is originally from Elyria, was 1986 Buckeye Captain and Academic All-American in 1989. He was also a four-time Big 10 Academic All-American 1986-891 He played in the NFL for the Chargers, the Bills and the Colts.

Jeremy Camp Photo
Jeremy Camp Unplugged Tour 9/22/07 Canton Baptist Church

It took 2 years for us to put together a foundation show that featured Jeremy, and it was definitely worth the
time and effort to make the show happen.  Jeremy and his band performed many of his hits from "I Still Believe"
(that has been a inspiration to me in my personal life), to his latest up tempo song "Tonight" and
"Let It Fade" and "What It Means". His vocals are crisp similiar to Nickelback, and others that are on the
charts, but will never have the true feeling and sincerity that is possessed by this performer. He included
"Understand", "Walk By Faith", and "I'll Take You Back", "Right Here" in between taking questions from the audience.
"Take My Life" was another strong accoustic rock highlight to the show.
If you have never seen Jeremy "Live", his show is definitely one that you do not want to miss.
The song "I Still Believe" was written by Jeremy after losing his young wife after only a few weeks of marriage.

Though the questions still fog up my mind with promises I still seem to bear even when answers slowly unwind
/Its my heart I see you prepare, But it's now that I feel your grace fall Like rain from every fingertip,
washing away my pain
I still believe in your faithfulness/I still believe in your Holy word/Even when I do not see/I still believe

This is song that I has touched me since losing my daughter at the young age of 12, and it gives me strength in my life.
We want to send out our special thanks to John Perkins, Jeremy's Tour Manager for his extra effort to make this show
become reality.

SCARS REMAIN TOUR BENEFITS FOUNDATION
The SCARS REMAIN TOUR worked with the foundation on a SOLD-OUT show in Westerville Ohio, and a hot show at Rocketown in Nashville., TN, which was our first show out of state. The unfortunate part, was the fact that 300 people were turned away at the doors of Westerville Christian Auditorium.
DECYFER DOWN kicked the show off with up tempo rock songs lead by Caleb Oliver on vocals. The band's songs "Break Free" and "Fight Like This" were highlights featuring solid guitar work by Brandon Mills. Florida-based FIREFLIGHT was lead by the strong vocal talents of Dawn RIchardson on poweful pop rock songs that included "Waiting" and "Drop The Attitude". These bands are definitely going places.
A rock'n'roll spectacle called FAMILY FORCE 5 hit the stage with force and style. FAMILY FORCE 5 is lead by brothers Solomon, and that have burst on the rock scene as the "Live Show" to see, and they lived up to the billing. The band featured the songs "Kountry Gentlemen", "Earthquake"and the smash hit "Love Addict". The band will be spreading their postive rock to stages of the WARPED TOUR this summer.
Headliner, DISCIPLE, showed that they are one the most powerful bands in Christian rock both on stage and lyrically . Kevin Young showed his vocal strength, along with Brad Noah's guitar on songs that included "Worth it All", "Only You" and "Shine Down". Young's smooth transition to ballads came through on their recent hit "After The World". Drummer Tim Barrett and bassist Joey Fife were exceptional on songs that included "Scars Remain", "Game On", and "The Wait is Over". Young also showed that he is not afraid to let people know that reason that get on the stage, to share God's good news. The foundation has worked with DISCIPLE three times, and looks forward to many more successful shows!
